PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a designated load at a designated height by slidably arranging a guide cylinder having almost the same diameter as an outside diameter of a measuring coil spring in a cylindrical holder. SOLUTION: A guide cylinder 3 is slightly raised to a holder 1, and a measuring coil spring 10 is inserted/installed in an inner hole 5 of the raised guide cylinder 3. In that case, the coil spring is inserted/installed so that an upper end part of the coil spring 10 projects from the upper end of the guide cylinder 3 and a lower end part of the coil spring 10 projects from the lower end of the holder 1. Next, a load measuring part 12 is lowered. In the lowering quantity, the load measuring part is lowered until the load measuring part 12 abuts to the upper end of a guide member 3 and the guide member 3 slightly lowers. Next, the load measuring part 12 is gradually raised, and an upper part of the coil spring 10 is projected from an upper end part of the guide member 3. A designated load is raised up to a designated height so that an object load can be measured at that time.
