PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a sharp-declining roof only on a surface which should be declined at sharp gradient with the other roof portions being formed into sloped roof portions at gentle gradient when a sharp-gradient roof is required on a surface of a three-storied house, and to form a mansard roof which is a mixture of the gentle-gradient roof and the sharp-gradient roof while keeping the balance in design of the roof. SOLUTION: In the shape of a roof of a three-storied house, part of the roof is formed by combining a gentle-gradient roof 2 portion having a gentle slope and a sharp-declining roof 1 having a sharp slope, to thereby form a mansard roof portion in which the gentle-gradient roof 2 is connected to the sharp-declining roof 1. Further, the gentle-gradient roof is set as a 2.5-Sun (7.6 cm)-gradient roof, and the sharp-declining roof is set as a 12-Sun (36.4 cm)- gradient roof.
