PURPOSE: A dynamic focus electric gun for a color cathode ray tube is provided to reduce the dynamic focus voltage by forming an electric beam passing hole to be circular. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic focus electric gun for a color cathode ray tube comprises a cathode(21), a controlling electrode(22), a screen electrode(23), an auxiliary lens, first, second, third, fourth, and fifth focus electrodes(24,25,26,27,28), a final accelerating electrode(29) for forming a main lens which comprises a focus lens and a convergence lens. The final accelerating electrode(29) is installed in the vicinity of the fifth focus electrode(28).
