<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information effective to the operation and maintenance for a system operator by properly displaying information about a submarine cable installed on a sea bottom and a land terminal station device onto a display. SOLUTION: A display device 3 displays a state of a submarine block on its screen. In the case that a submarine cable block is broken, an information display means 22 transmits warning information to the display device 3 and the display device 3 displays the faulty submarine cable block in a warning color on the screen. The operator uses an entry device 4 to select the faulty submarine block and to click it, then the display device 3 displays information such as a length of the submarine cable, a type of the submarine cable, the installed water depth, the broken location and preliminary information. When the operator uses the entry device 4 to select an item 'all' among displayed items, the information of 'all' is sent from an input device processing means 23 to a submarine cable database 51, and the display device 3 displays detailed information of the faulty submarine block stored in the submarine cable database 51 via the information display means 22.</p> |
