摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the amorphous formability in the alloy and to improve its corrosion resistance as well by allowing it to have a specified compsn. composed of Zr; Al and/or Ga; (Ni, Co, Fe) Cu; Nb. SOLUTION: This alloy is expressed by the general formula of Zr1-a-b-cAa [(Ni, Co, Fe) Cu]b Nbc, where A denotes one or two kinds of elements selected from Al and Ga, (a) to (c) denote atomic ratios, respectively, a=5 to 20, b=15 to 45, 0<c<=25, and a+b+c=30 to 70, and the ratio of (Ni, Co, Fe) to Cu=1.8 to 2.1. Fe, Co, Ni and Cu are the main elements for forming amorphous phases. Al and Ga are elements for remarkably enhancing the amorphous formability. Nb is an element for imparting high corrosion resistance thereto without remarkably deteriorating the amorphous formability. As to this alloy, cooling and solidifying are executed from the molten state by using a single roll method or the like, by which the one having a thin strip shape, a filamentary shape or a granular shape can easily be obtd.
