摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phenomenon of reattachment of produced cutting chips on a surface of a sample on a slicer to sequentially take in data on a cutting surface while slicing the sample. SOLUTION: A working chamber 11 is furnished with a cylindrical shape, and a circular cutter 12 is provided in it. A blade 12a of the cutter is within a flat surface vertical against a revolving axis 12d and revolves along a side wall 11a of the working chamber around the revolving axis 12d. A sample 10 is held by a sample holder 18 and delivered to the inside of the working chamber 11 by specified quantity each through an opening part 17. A sensor 19 to detect a state of a cutting surface of the sample is arranged in front of the sample 10. A collection tank 15 for chip collection is provided on a bottom part of the working chamber 11. A cylindrical dust trap 21 is arranged between the side wall 11a of the working chamber and a revolving track of the blade 12a. A plural number of plates 22 to capture chips 20 is installed on an inner peripheral surface of the dust trap 21.
