PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of overload by earth pressure in an underground opening section even when an underground transport pipe passed through the underground opening of an underground structure subsides by a land subsidence, and to inspect and exchange an expansion joint without excavation works. SOLUTION: A vertically long-sized underground opening 3 is formed to the basement wall 1 of an underground structure A, laggings 13, 14 are installed on the inside and the outside of the opening 3, and an inflow into the structure A from the underground opening 3 of the soil and sand of a ground E is prevented. The laggings 13, 14 are composed of frame members and sliding members, an underground transport pipe 5 is arranged while being penetrated to the sliding members, and the transport pipe 5 is connected to another transport pipe 6 through an expansion joint 7. Even when the pipe 5 subsides in the direction of the arrow B, the expansion joint is inspected and exchanged easily, and no stress is generated because subsidence is permitted by the movement of the sliding members and the elongation of the expansion joint 7 in the pipe 5 and the pipe 5 is not abutted against the underground structure A.
