<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical processing method of a piston of a swash plate compressor capable of simplifying a width of a swash plate-passing groove and carrying out a processing without changing a tool even if a groove width of the swash plate-passing groove of the piston is varied while maintaining a depth of a shoe-receiving seat concave portion to a constant by processing the receiving seat concave portion for receiving the shoe. SOLUTION: In a spherical surface processing method of a passing groove 21 of a piston of a swash plate compressor provided with a swash plate rotating around a rotation shaft as a center of which a peripheral surface reciprocates approximately along the direction of the rotation shaft and a piston 20 provided with a passing groove 21 of the swash plate for converting a motion of the swash plate to a reciprocating motion in the cylinder bore through a shoe, concave portions 1a, 1b of a circular shape for accommodating and retaining a spherical portion of a spherical shoe on both end surfaces of the passing groove 21 is subjected to a spherical processing by moving a center axis 3 of a tool 6 from a rotation center axis of a processing machine while the tool 6 having a circular blade portion 5 is rotated.</p> |
