The foot (1) consists of two hollow moulded blocks (3, 4) which are hinged together down one side by a tongue (3b) on one block engaging with a slot (4b) on the other. On the opposite side the two blocks are fastened together by an H-shaped key (20) inserted through notches (3d, 4d) into shaped holes (25). The two blocks have concave recesses (13, 14) in their facing surfaces which form a well for the post or mast (2) when they are joined together. |
