PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp housing material having excellent mechanical properties, ease in molding, and stable performance such as weatherability, having a high luster, and good glass blur. SOLUTION: A resin composition is formed from a crystalline polypropylene, an ethylene-propylene block copolymer and an inorganic filler in such a way that the content of the portion with ethylene-propylene random copolymer is not more than 8 wt.%, and to 100 pts.wt. resin composition, 0.05-1 pts.wt. N- methyl type hindered amine photo stabilizer and 0.05-1 pts.wt. hindered phenol oxidation preventive agent having a melting point not less than 110 deg.C are added, and further a non-alkali metal salt of fatty acids having a weight mean molecular weight of 600 or more and a melting point of 110 deg.C or more is added in a content of 0.05-2 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. inorganic filler, and the obtained resin material is used to produce a lamp housing component by means of molding. |
