PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a rotation shaft and a screw when a load which is greater than a specified value is applied to them by cutting off the driving force from a drive source when the load which is greater than a specified value is applied to the rotation shaft. SOLUTION: In this device, the toner contained in a case 52 is carried along with the rotation of the rotation shaft 54 and the screw 56 and stored in a waste toner box. The driving force from the drive motor is cut off by a torque limiter 60 when the load which is greater than the specified value is applied to the rotation shaft 54. The torque limiter 60 is provided with a coupling and a coupling gear which are engaged each other. The end part on the torque limiter 60 side of the rotation shaft 54 is formed to be a D-cut shape and the coupling can be freely moved for a specified distance in the axial direction of the rotation shaft 54 and outside it the coupling is energized by a coil spring. The coupling gear and the gear 54a are formed integrally and when the load that is greater than the specified value is applied to the rotation shaft 54, the coupling and the coupling gear are caused to slip and the driving force is not transmitted to the rotation shaft 54 resulting in slipping and idle running.
