CONTACTLESS IC CARD AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card where a coil is formed thin and the coil and an IC chip are easily and surely connected. SOLUTION: Connection terminals 2A and 2B made of a metallic foil are formed on a card substrate 1, and conductive ink is printed on the card substrate 1 by silk screen print to form a wiring 7 of the coil, and terminals 7A and 7B of the coil are so formed that they may be superposed on connection terminals 2A and 2B. An IC chip 3 is mounted on the card substrate 1, and electrode terminals of the IC chip 3 are connected to connection terminals 2A and 2B through a bonding wire 9.
