PURPOSE: A process for preparing copolyetherester by reacting polyester, poly(alkyleneether)glycol and comonomer is provided which is economical and commercial. CONSTITUTION: A process for the manufacture of copolyetherester having a molecular weight of 400 to 10,000 comprises the steps of melting polyester, poly(alkyleneether)glycol and comonomer in a reaction tank by heating to form a melting admixture and poly condensing the obtained melting admixture at a temperature of 230 to 280°C under a vacuum pressure of 4 torr. The copolyetherester is used for a shoe sole, a vibration isolating transmission sleeve, an air conditioning sleeve, an electric wire, an electric cable, automobile parts and a carbon fiber such as swimming suit, sports or training suits. |
