摘要	PURPOSE: An electric field emitter and a method for manufacturing the same is provided to minimize the number of steps by using same materials for a resistor and a tipped structure, which increase the efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An electric field emitter includes a tipped emitter(38A), a gate electrode(44), and an insulator layer(42). The tipped emitter limiters a current supply on a board(34) with a cathode electrode(36) formed within. The gate electrode(44) controls the amount of electrons emitted from the tipped emitter(38A). The insulator layer(42) insulates the gate electrode(44) and the tipped emitter(38A). On the surface of the tipped emitter, more emitting material is further coated.
