PURPOSE: A pressure separation apparatus for scroll compressor is provided to reduce parts count required for dividing the inner space of the closed container into a high pressure section and a low pressure section, while simplifying the structure of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a separation plate(21) having a width corresponding to the sectional area of a closed container(1), and which is inserted into the closed container and positioned onto a fixed scroll(8) coupled to the inner upper portion of the closed container, so as to divide the inner space of the closed container into a high pressure section and a low pressure section; a sealing member(22) coupled to the outer periphery of the separation plate and which maintains air-tightness between the inner periphery of the closed container and the outer periphery of the separation plate; and a control unit coupled to the center of the separation plate and which controls refrigerant gas flow toward the high pressure section and low pressure section of the closed container.
