PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert the melting and the casting of a metallic Cd accompanied with a dangerous work into a continuous casting method enabling automatic control and to obtain a cast product having a fixed weight without the crack and the surface oxide layer by guiding the cast product coming out from a mold in the horizontal direction fitted to the opening part of a molten Cd holding furnace connected with a Cd melting furnace through a communicating tube, providing a continuous cast product cutting-off device at a downstream side of pinch rolls. SOLUTION: The molten Cd holding furnace 3 is connected with the Cd melting furnace 1 through the communicating tube 2 and the mold 5 whose axis is formed as the horizontal direction, is arranged to the opening part 4 at the lower position of the side wall in the molten metal holding furnace 3. Further, pinch rolls 7 for guiding and drawing out the cast product 6 coming out from the mold 5 into the horizontal direction, and a continuous cast product cutting-off device 8 at the downstream side of the pinch rolls 7, are arranged. The many same molds 5 in the front and the rear direction, are parallel lined and the round shaped continuous cast rods are drawn out and plural pieces continuous cast rods are simultaneously and parallel cast. Then, plural pieces of continuous cast rods are simultaneously cut off in the same period with the continuous cast product cutting-off device 8 having circular saws.
