PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet having excellent coating properties, printability, and water resistance of a printed image. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet is coated with an aqueous cationic polyurethane obtained from a polyisocyanate and a polyol component containing 3 to 50 wt.% of polyol having a polyoxyethylene structure. As the cationic polyurethane, the polyurethane having a tertiary amino group in a molecule or a cationic group neutralized at its part or entirety by an acid or quaternized by a quaternizing agent is preferably used. |
