PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet which does not lower workability without causing scum shortage and rising during scum removal in label processing. SOLUTION: In a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet obtained by layering in turn a surface base material, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a peeling agent layer, and a peeling base material, and the surface base material is a cast coated sheet having a weight per m2 of 70-88 g, wherein the peeling agent layer is a solventless silicone, pulp compsn. of the surface base materials is NBKP/LBKP=0-25/10-75, the product of tensile strength and elongation by JIS P 8113 is not smaller than 10 [(kN/m).%] for vertical grain, and the peeling strength to peel the upper paper comprising the surface base material and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer from the peel paper comprising the peeling base layer and the surface base material is 300-450 gf/50 mm at a peeling degree of 30 deg. and a peeling speed of 60 m/min.
