<p>A method for accepting input in a system, for displaying a set of characters in a size larger than characters already accepted and displayed in the system is described. In response to a user selection of at least a character from a set of characters, the character is displayed in a size generally corresponding to characters already accepted and displayed by the system. According to one embodiment of the invention, the set of characters comprises kanji. One embodiment of the invention includes a computer system including a display (209), a user input device (207), a memory including a data structure that associates sets of user inputs with respective sets of characters, and a computer executable code. Another embodiment is a system including a television monitor (522), a computer system coupled to a network (526) and to the television monitor, a user input device (520), and logic (521).</p> |
