PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently oppose an external force, especially in a side collision, by improving a joint strength between an intermediate part of a roof side rail and the top of a center pillar. SOLUTION: A roof side rail 7 is provided with a rail outer panel 27 and a rail inner panel 28. A center pillar 12 is provided with a pillar outer panel 30, a pillar inner panel 31, and a pillar reinforcement panel 32. Respective top edges of the rail outer panel 27 and the rail inner panel 28 are connected with the top edge of the pillar reinforcement panel 32, the bottom edge of the rail outer panel 27 is connected with the top edge of the pillar outer panel 30, and the bottom edge of the rail inner panel 28 is connected with the top edge of the pillar inner panel 31. The pillar inner panel 31 has an extending piece 31a integrally extending from its top edge. This extending piece 31a is connected with the pillar reinforcement panel 32.
