<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image of high picture quality and good image density with a two-component developer in a developing device having plural magnet rolls, to achieve a long life in the two-component developer, and to decrease the cost of image formation to improve the economic performance. SOLUTION: A resin component having 3 to 7 g/10 min melt index and 56 to 63 deg.C glass transition temp. is used to obtain toner mother particles having good fixing property and storage property while keeping a high mechanical strength. By using a two-component developer consisting of the toner particles and a carrier, the toner hardly deposits on the carrier surface regardless to the stress produced in the developing device 10, which prevents deterioration of the carrier while maintaining good electrification property of the toner in a good state. Thus, high picture quality and good image density as well as a longer life of the developer are realized.</p> |
