PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding material using a rectangular waved metal plate such as folding plate or rectangular waved steel sheet which are used for inner or outer walls of a building by which electromagnetic wave shielding can be performed at a low cost. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic shielding material has grooves 2 in the same shape as grooves formed with specified spacing in a rectangular waved metal plate such as folding plate or rectangular waved steel sheet. In this case, one or plural shield leads 5 are provided along the whole length of the electromagnetic wave shielding material 1 in the grooves 2, in such a way that the leads 5 are in contact with rectangular waved metal plate and are electrically conductive as a whole, when the parts where grooves at the extremity of two rectangular waved metal plates are overlapped are housed in the grooves 2.
