PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a display method for objects of other dictionary understandable in KANJI (Chinese characters) conversion, when plural kinds of Japanese language conversion dictionaries are provided for the telephone set. SOLUTION: This telephone set that is provided with a Japanese language conversion system, having plural kinds of conversion dictionaries 6, 7, is provided with entry means 8, 9 that enter a character string of a conversion objects, a conversion control means that extracts conversion objects from the entered character string by using each conversion dictionary and obtains the extracted conversion objects and number of the objects, and a display control means 4 that controls display of the conversion objects, based on a selected conversion dictionary and of information obtained from the other conversion dictionary for displaying the number of the conversion objects by each dictionary.
