PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a capacity of a board mounting device which can cope with both of a case of mounting a large-width board and a case of mounting a small-width board, by using a part of a large-width board mounting area combinedly also as a small-width board mounting area. SOLUTION: In the board mounting device, an H-shaped small-width board extension part (floating basket) 5 having guides for the small-width boards is mounted in a large-width board mounting unit 1 having supports provided to its ceiling and floor surfaces for guiding large-width boards, a small-width board 3 is inserted along the both supports to couple a connector of the small- width board with a combinedly used connector of a rear side board of the large-width board mounting unit.
