摘要 PURPOSE: A tomography method and an apparatus used therefor using radioactive ray with a certain extent and thickness are provided, which can produce an integrated tomography image of a multitude of slices having different slice thicknesses, based on projection images of an examinee from the various observational direction, thereby medical inspection efficiency can be significantly improved. CONSTITUTION: A method of radioactive ray tomography comprises the steps of: projecting an object to be examined with radioactive ray having a certain extent and thickness, wherein the projected image is divided in the thickness direction of the radioactive ray; measuring the each projection data from a multitude of observational direction; and forming a tomography image based on the projection data with respect to the divided projection images, respectively, and the whole image of the each divided projection images. The apparatus used in the such tomography includes specifically, measuring means which can measure the projection data in multiple observational direction and tomography means, wherein the measuring means is characterized in including partition means which unevenly divides the projection image in the thickness direction of the radioactive beam in order to obtain a multitude of tomography of slices having various thickness in broad range.
