PURPOSE: A discharge apparatus for air conditioner is provided to allow the heat-exchanged air to be discharged in multiple directions by arranging the upper cabinet having a grille member to be rotatable. CONSTITUTION: A discharge apparatus comprises a motor(51) mounted within a lower cabinet(30); a first gear(53) mounted at a motor shaft member(52) of the motor and which rotates in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions; a connection member(54) having a second gear(55) arranged at the lower end of the outer periphery of the connection member so as to rotate, being engaged with the first gear; and a rotation plate(56) which connects an upper cabinet(40) and the connection member in such a manner that the rotation plate rotates along with the rotation of the connection member so as to rotate the upper cabinet.
