PURPOSE: An optical recording/reproducing apparatus is provided to eliminate a cross-talk component according to a driving conditions by converting a frequency characteristic of a sub-beam reproduction signal into a frequency characteristic of a cross-talk component of a main-beam reproduction signal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for optical recording/reproducing divides a beam to irradiate a main beam(12) to an object track(22) and sub beams(11,13) to adjacent tracks(21,23) to the object track. A sensor senses a driving condition of the optical recording medium. A memory stores and classifies filter coefficient calculated to convert frequency characteristic of the sub beam into a frequency characteristic of a cross-talk component of the main beam. An operator(8) adds and subtracts an output signal of a filter and a reproduction signal of the main beam.
