<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to set up and display the significance of the same home page in each user in accordance with its display frequency by preparing a significance control part for counting the number of times of displaying the same identification (ID) information picture and totalizing the display frequency of each display picture having already displayed ID information in a definition management table. SOLUTION: A web page prepared from WWW data 23 by a WWW server 23 is downloaded by a WWW browser function part 13 in a terminal 12 through a network 11. The downloaded web page is transferred to the importance control part 15 which checks whether a URL in the web page has been registered in a definition management table 18 or not, and when the URL has not been registered or display frequency does not reach significance, the function part 13 displays the downloaded web page as it is. When the display frequency reaches the significance, the web page is updated to a web page obtained by adding a significance mark to the URL in the current web page.</p> |
