PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method which causes hydrogen peroxide not to remain in the treated water after ozone contact, in a process where the hydrogen peroxide is added to the water containing hardly decomposable organic materials to be brought into contact with the ozone. SOLUTION: In a method where hydrogen peroxide 2 is added to water 1, which contains hardly decomposable organic materials to oxidize and remove the organic materials in the presence of ozone 4, when the water 1 to be treated is brought into contact with the ozone 4 after the addition of the hydrogen peroxide 2, it is brought into contact with a metallic catalyst 6. |
