PURPOSE: A data frame configuration method for user data transmission is provided to increase a data communication speed, and to improve a speech quality by decreasing a number of re-transmission of the user data through variation of a length of a frame according to radio wave environment. CONSTITUTION: In a frame format process procedure, a length of a frame and an error control type are decided according to a radio wave environment. Radio wave environment variables are decided by considering a frame error rate, a fading and an interference power and so on. The length of the frame includes plural mini frame because the length of the frame is decided according to a product of a unit length of a mini frame and the frame length variable(X). The frame length variable(X,43) is decided according to the radio wave environment, and the mini frame length is fixed. The error control type is a selected one between two types according to the radio wave environment. When the radio wave environment variable is less than a threshold(T,44), an error control type1(CRC TYPE1,45) is used. When the radio wave environment variable is more than the threshold(T,44), an error control type2(CRC TYPE1,45) is used. An error control function of the type1 is more powerful than the error control function of the type2.
