PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the installation of necessary members for installing a machine tool on a floor surface, enable the installation by a simple lifter, so as to complete the installation, transfer and reinstallation in a short time. SOLUTION: A guide rail 20 is fixedly provided on a floor surface 21 on which to install a bed 50 as a base for a machine tool. A guide member 51 guided by the guide rail 20 is provided on a bottom surface of the bed 50. Knock pins 25 are thrustingly installed in the guide rail 29, and support members 54a, 54b, 54c having an engaging hole engaged with the knock pin 25 and a positioning bolt 58 in three point positions are provided in the bottom surface of the bed 50. Counter marks 82, 84 indicating a position in a longitudinal direction of the bed 50 are applied to the guide rail 20 and the bed 50.
