DETECTOR INSERTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a detector in place easily and positively without injury to it for taking out the detector easily by mounting a carrying device which has the detector and moves in an inserting/taking-out guide path passing through an isolated area. SOLUTION: A detector inserting/taking out guide path 2 passes through an isolated area 3 and is laid near an object 1 to be measured. A carrying device 4 provided with a radiation detector is movably-inserted in the guide path 2. A pulley 5 is mounted on the front end of the guide path 2, and a wire 6 for moving the carrying device is hooked on the pulley 5 to reverse it. The wire 6 is shaped into a loop form between an automatic winding device 7 mounted on the outside of the isolated area 3 and it, and both ends of the wire 6 are fixed to the carrying device 4. The wire 6 is moved in a loop form by the automatic winding device 7, and the carrying device 4 also moves back and forth with the movement of the wire 6. The automatic winding device 7 is provided with a traveling distance measuring instrument to verify the position of the carrying device 4.
