PURPOSE: A panel heat protection structure is provided to effectively protect a heat generated between front and rear glass in a case of gas discharging, thereby enabling the front and rear glass of a plasma display panel of TV set to have a uniform temperature distribution. CONSTITUTION: The panel heat protection structure comprises a rear glass(3), wherein a heat protection panel is sticked to rear surface of the rear glass for emitting heat generated in case of discharging of the rear glass(3) of the flat panel display. The heat protection panel is consist of a first heat protection panel(4) and a second heat protection panel(7) having a thermal conductivity superior to the first heat protection panel at a center of the first heat protection panel.
