PURPOSE: A chromatographic cartridge assembly including a cartridge having a flexible wall which forms the polymeric hydrophilic chromatographic medium included in the chamber. CONSTITUTION: The chromatographic cartridge assembly(12) possesses: a cartridge(22) having a flexible wall and forming a chamber; a porous polymeric hydrophilic chromatographic medium included in the chamber, having the acting pressure more than three bars; the flexible wall having transfer diaphragm compressing the chromatographic medium; the chromatographic cartridge assembly(12) having a flow distributor, a flow collector and a sieve formed with the hydrophilic matter; a compression module(20) forming a compression chamber including a pressurizing fluid; and the pressuring fluid acting to move the flexible wall of the cartridge assembly(12).
