PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the exhalation of smell to the ambient by building the fine powder of BINCHO coal or bamboo coal into a menstrual blood absorption layer arranged inside a back sheet at a high density. SOLUTION: A center in-pad 4 is constituted by making a deodorant sheet 8 sandwichedly held in the center of a highly water absorptive resin-contg. pad 7. The back sheet 1 is provided with this pad at its center so as fit the pad to a menstruation point. The deodorant sheet 8 is formed by binding the fine powder 8b of the BINCHO coal or bamboo coal via an adhesive to the fiber confounding portions of an air permeable nonwoven fabric mat 8a consisting of cotton-like polyester fibers. The fine powder 8b of the BINCHO coal or bamboo coal having an average grain size of about 100μm is used. A moisture absorption function and a minus ion release function may be imparted together with a deodorization function to the deodorant sheet by the use of the fine powder 8a of the BINCHO coal or bamboo coal. Consequently, the exhalation of the smell is prevented.
