SOLUTION: An image pickup device is constituted so that an IC card 3 is mounted on a video camera 5, the still image is recorded in the IC card 3 and the recorded contents are made possible to be confirmed by loading the IC card 3 by the car navigation device 4. Volume, the total storage capacity, etc., of the IC card 3 are recorded from an area at the head of a memory space in the IC card 3, after that, a table for management is recorded and a file, etc., of navigation data are recorded in the remaining user area. Data to manage the user area, addresses of respective files recorded in the user area, data and time of recording, the information on a place where the data are recorded, kinds of files, etc., are recorded in the table for management.
