PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate combustion of refuse and exhaust gas generation behavior at the same time, and also to provide an operation training device permitting operation training including an automatic operation control and a pseudo-display device in an in-furnace combustion state. SOLUTION: This is a training device for operating a refuse incinerator provided with an automatic combustion control device 8 for signal-processing assuming an automatic combustion control for controlling combustion of a refuse incinerator, a calculating device 9 for simulating combustion behavior in the refuse incinerator, and a display device for displaying a simulation result of the combustion behavior. An in-furnace combustion state pseudo-display for displaying flames by simulation according to in-furnace refuse combustion states is configured by displaying ascending states of plural particles displaying flame images swirling about a spiral axis by a three-dimensional computer graphics while they are varying their lives, ascending speeds, colors, and spiral diameters of spiral routes.
