RECEPTION EQUIPMENT OF OFDM SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of fast Fourier transformers(FFT) or the like required for performing diversity reception or simultaneous multifrequency band reception concerning reception equipment with respect to orthogonal frequency division multiplex(OFDM) system. SOLUTION: Signals received by antennas 1 and 5 are amplified by reception high frequency parts 2 and 6, converted later to the intermediate frequency signals of mutually adjacent frequencies by mixers 3 and 7 and local oscillators 4 and 8, digitized as one signal by an A/D converter 11 while performing frequency division multiplex through a synthesizer 9 and transformed later from a signal on the time base to a signal on the frequency base by an FFT 12. Concerning the transformed signal, diversity synthesizing is performed based on selection or addition by a synthesizing circuit 13 and after it is demodulated by a carrier wave demodulating circuit 14, a digital signal is outputted through an error correcting circuit 15.
