PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which can reconstruct the whole program at an arbitrary point of time irrelevantly to whether development is in process or between executions. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a generation managing device which manages the modification of a source file 17 and a device which makes generation numbers made by the generation managing device to correspond to respective generations and modification identification numbers for discriminating program modifying operations correspond to each other. It is made possible to restore the whole program which is modified at a certain point of time and information for discriminating the modified source file 17 is added. Consequently, the source file 17 before modification is easily extracted.
