PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder presenting a fine appearance at the time of service. SOLUTION: A cup holder is equipped with a housing 1 fixed to the car body, a holder body 11 having a recess 13 with the side face left open partially and borne inside the housing 1 in such a way as capable of being put in and taken out, and a holder arm 31 borne rotatably by the holder body 11 and defining a holding space for a cup in cooperation with the recess 13. The holder arm 31 is furnished with an extended wall surface part 39 branching from the space defining part 32 and shielding the rotational center part of the arm, and thereby no unnecessary gap will be generated between the base end of the arm 31 and the open end of the recess 13 owing to the shielding in whichever manner the arm 31 is rotated in accordance with the diameter of the cup, and it is possible to enhance the appearance at the time of service and eliminate risk of foreign matter intrusion.
