PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of machining head. SOLUTION: A mirror finished part 28 is provided on an inner side surface 23a of a cylindrical casing of a fiber holder mounting part 23. Reflected light beams from a protecting glass 26 and a work W reversely proceed through condensing lenses 24, 25, but reflect again at the mirror finished part 28. Then, temperature rise of the fiber holder mounting part 23 and an optical fiber in addition is restrained. Thereby, softening of the optical fiber comes to hardly occur, and reliability at the time of machining is improved.
