<p>Process for the homogenisation of mineral which is to be fed to a sinter line in which the mineral is fed to hoppers of different sizes and continuously with drawn at rates equal to the supply rates. Because the hoppers are of different sizes the consequent passage time of the mineral in each of the hoppers is different. The mineral withdrawn from each hopper at the same time, and mixed, results from mineral which was fed to the hoppers at different times and thus would probably have different properties. The resulting mixture is more homogenous than that obtained by recyling.</p> |
