MAGNETIC HEAD AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute stable magnetic recording and reproduction process in spite of change of ambient temp. in a magnetic head having a constitution in which a magnetic head part is supported by a slider. SOLUTION: The magnetic head is provided with a first magnetic head part 12 executing recording/reproducing on a flexible first medium, a second magnetic head part 14 executing recording/reproduction on a second medium having flexibility and low holding power to the first medium and a slider 16 for holding the first and the second magnetic head parts 12, 14. The magnetic head is constituted so that the second magnetic head part 14 is held by the slider 16 by using the adhesive 34 and thermal expansion coefficient of the slider 16 and substantial thermal expansion coefficient of the adhesive 34 are matched by incorporating a filler in the adhesive 34.
