PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fading of a pyrazoloazomethine dye by using atoms each having three-dimensionally bulky groups as the atoms adjacent to an atom bonded to nitrogen atom in a sulfonamide group. SOLUTION: Atoms each having three-dimensionally bulky groups are used as the atoms adjacent to an atom bonded to nitrogen atom of a sulfonamide group. The sulfonamide group is expressed by -NHSO2R, wherein R is a substituent. The three-dimensionally bulky groups to be used are preferably groups so as to three-dimensionally protect the sulfonamide group. For example, alkyl groups and aryl groups are used. As for the alkyl groups, 1-32C groups such as a methyl group and an ethyl group are used and they may be straight chains or branched chains. As for the aryl groups, for example, a phenyl group, a naphthyl group or the like is used. Thereby, the fading of a pyrazoloazomethine dye can be prevented and a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having excellent light resistance can be obtd.
