<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate the service life of a rotary joint for fluid and to improve the reliability by forming a first seal member and a seal receiver from silicon carbide respectively and by forming second seal members and seal receiver members of specified materials such as carbon respectively. SOLUTION: A seal member 31 and a seal receiver 32 forming a first seal mechanism 3 are formed of silicon carbide respectively, seal members and seal receivers forming second seal mechanisms 4, 5 are mainly formed of materials selected from the silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, fluororesin, PEEK, and carbon. When the seal members and the seal receivers forming the first seal mechanism 3 and the second seal mechanisms 4, 5 are held by a first joint element 1 and a second joint element 2 via an O ring 42, the O ring 42 is mainly formed of fluorine-based resin or fluororubber.</p> |
