PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for fixing a workpiece of cutting work, capable of inhibiting mechanical vibration of the workpiece which occurs when a rotating cutting tool and the workpiece are moved relative to each other for cutting and of providing a good accuracy of finished surfaces and a good dimensional accuracy whereby high-speed, high-efficiency cutting is made possible. SOLUTION: This jig has a soft resin sheet S of a predetermined thickness which is interposed between the mounting seat surface 25a of a fixture for securely mounting a workpiece 41 and the mounting surface 44 of the workpiece 41, a clamping bolt 52 and a clamping nut 54 which serve as fixing means for fixing the workpiece 41 to the fixture while making pressures toward the mounting seat surface 25a independently adjustable, and first and second supporting bolts 57, 60 serving as support means for supporting the workpiece 41, the abutting heights of the support means against the workpiece 41 being independently adjustable.
