PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber digital transmission system at a low cost by which same data are simultaneously transmitted to all subscribers and a channel not in use is assigned to a subscriber requiring a high data rate. SOLUTION: The digital subscriber device consisting of plural subscriber terminals and of corresponding subscriber devices to them sends/receives incoming communication data and outgoing communication data to/from a few terminal station devices 101 via subscriber lines 100. In this case, a number assigned to a predetermined subscriber device is added to a head of the communication data and a frame word to distinguish the incoming communication data from the outgoing communication data so as to clarify to which subscriber device the data belong, then the communication data are transmitted between a few terminal station devices 101 and many subscriber devices.
