PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall type building omitting or reducing wall material sealing work needing a scaffolding so as to make work simple and rapid and to suppress or reduce cost. SOLUTION: This wall type building 1 is provided with an exterior wall group 2 constituting the outer periphery of the building 1; a longitudinal joint sealing means for a longitudinal joint 3 of the exterior wall group 2; and a lateral joint sealing means for a lateral joint of the exterior wall group 2. The longitudinal joint sealing means 4 is composed of first regular longitudinal joint sealing members 18 vertically extended being respectively bonded to vertical joint parts of a plurality of exterior walls 8 forming the longitudinal joint 3 so as to come in pressure contact with each other, and a second regular longitudinal joint sealing member 19 laid between the vertical joint parts of a plurality of exterior walls 8 and vertically extended in a state of being positioned inside the building. The lateral joint sealing means is composed of first and second regular lateral joint sealing members interposed in a press working state between horizontal joint parts of a plurality of exterior walls 8 forming the lateral joint, and the first and second regular lateral joint sealing members are arranged in the inner and outer directions of the building 1.
