ENGINE OIL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an engine oil composition having both of excellent abrasion preventing performance and abrasion-reducing effect as lubricating oil for gasoline engines and Diesel engines. SOLUTION: This engine oil composition is obtained by using an engine oil selected from mineral oil or synthetic oil as a base oil and adding (A) 0.01-0.1 wt.% (based on boron amount) boron compound derivative of an alkenylsuccinic imide, (B) 0.01-2.5 wt.% amine salt of an acidic phosphate, (C) 0.5-3 wt.% zinc primary dithiophosphate and optionally (D) 0.1-10 wt.% alkaline earth metal type detergent-dispersant to the base oil.
