PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of wiring of an electric motor for tilting as well as improve wiring appearance. SOLUTION: The tilt device for outboard engine is provided with a first bracket 3 to be fixed to a ship body, a second bracket 5 pivotally supported by the first bracket 3 via a tilt axis 4 which can rotate in the vertical direction, a propelling unit pivotally installed to the second bracket to be movable in the horizontal direction, a hydraulic cylinder 17 to be connected to the second bracket 5 and the first bracket 3, an electric motor 20 for driving the hydraulic cylinder 17, and a pick-up hole 3a formed in the first bracket 3 near the tilt axis 4. A wiring 21 for the electric motor 20 is led from the pick-up hole 3a so as to be engaged with the propelling unit. |
